Hi
I edit wedding videos for a friend of mine, and he's just bought a new camera to further enhance the digital editing process and picture quality. He originally had a Panasonic camera and likes to fade up and down between scenes, which he could do manually. He's been practicing with the Sony, and found out he can only do automatic fades with it, and can;t control how long these fades are. Not I generally always edit the fades into crossfades in anycase, but he would like to have more contolr over the camera, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this?
I also had problems before with the 'Split by Scene' function in ULEAD VS 7, as it didn;t seem ton work with the Panasonic. I assume this will work now with the Sony, as it would take literally hours off the editing processes, as I won;t have to find each scene, and put my own cut in it to do the cross fades.
Anyway help you can give with the above two questions would be of great help!
Thank you
Alex
