  1. Here's what i got...
I imported some clips from a VCR at school onto the Mac computer using Premiere's capture option. Everything was fine, i went about editing my movie, the audio and video played fine in the preview monitor. A week later, the audio just stopped. No audio is played during the preview, no audio is exported when "export timeline" is run. Even playing the source clip that I imported, there is no audio, just the video. The ONLY way i can play the audio is if i double click the exact audio track, also i can hear the sound when i drag the playbar across the timeline. It opens the waveform window and then i can play the audio. This is really causing a problem because:
    1. I need to hear sounds in order to edit my work
    2. I need 4 movies turned in by next week!
My guess is that one of the less advanced media tech students (kinda like me but maybe more retarded), messed with an option and turned the sound off. I've checked multiple times... the audio tracks are not muted, so that is not the problem. I've spent two class periods looking for an option/preference to turn it back on, with no success. If anyone knows how to get my sound back, please let me know!!!

    Thanks, sorry for long post!

  2. I've had the same problems, multiple times... and always mange to forget how to fix it. Take a look at this link I found when seaching google for 'adobe premiere "no audio" preview.' Unplugging your VCR from your computer will probably also fix the problem.
