BTW, data rate is 4000. I'm capturing with Studio DC 10 Plus. My hard disc supports now up to 10164 (write) and 8598 (read) data rate. Can I fix the "dropped frames" thing by changing the data rate? PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks))))))

are the drops in clusters or single frames gradually over time? if the latter i'd suspect the clock stability of your soundcard. less than 1 dropped frames per 1000 is ideal, although 1 or 2 is not bad

thanks for your help
I truly don't know if they are in clusters or single frames.... AVI_IO says just "drop: " and the number of frames. I'll check out what you said anyway
Thanks again
