Could this be RCE?

I seem to be having a problem with the region code on a disk when I try to make a copy of it. I use any DVD and Clone DVD but when burned to disk and I try to play it it just shows the federal warning and then a map showing the region code numbers!. I have also tried it with DVd decrypter and clone DVD with the same result!. I have also tried to play it on my computer using Power DVD with the same result!. The original does play fine on both. My region is 2 and the region of the DVD is 1 but my standalone plays anything anyway. Anyone any idea, thanks. Could this be something to do with RCE as I have been told it could be?.

Sounds like it could be - make sure the correct RCE region is selected in the DVD Decypter options.

Thanks, but should this be the region code on the movie or my own region code?. I am unsure on this.

in Decryptor set the region code to the code of the movie itself and it will crack the RCE correctly.

Hi Guys

I've got Identity & Runaway Jury - but I keep getting the world region zone's map thing when I copy the disk to the HD (via DVDDecrypter). I've set the RCE Protection Region to 1 before copying as advised but it still doesn't work

Any ideas what's up ?

are you sure the original DVD is region 1? check the back of the box. if its something other than 1 set the region code to the region it lists. there are also some DVD players that do no like no region and all region discs.
