Is there anything that I CAN'T do with an ISO ripped with say DVD Decrypter and virtual drive utilities like Daemon Tools that I CAN do with the original DVD?

Nope...as long as it is an exact ISO and you haven't tinkered with it, it should be identical in every respect.

I've never tried either with the original, but it's nice to know that for the most part it's just as good.

Damn, that's what the cat was coughing up in the corner. I thought it was furballs. I (and the cat) wish you had told us sooner.

It will be a carbon copy of the original...except you won't be able to play most in a standalone DVD player until DL burners come out.
    If in doubt, Google it.

guns1inger: I apologize to you and your feline companion there that I was indisposed of telling you this quite well known fact...

And this only applies to DVD-R, because cats won´t touch the far more inferior DVD+R format.
