Is there anything that I CAN'T do with an ISO ripped with say DVD Decrypter and virtual drive utilities like Daemon Tools that I CAN do with the original DVD?

Nope...as long as it is an exact ISO and you haven't tinkered with it, it should be identical in every respect.

I've never tried either with the original, but it's nice to know that for the most part it's just as good.
