  1. Hey i got 1 movie that has been split up into 2 avi files for 700 megs each... im just wonder what is a easy way to burn these to a dvd as a full movie without loosing the audio and video quality.

    easy...buy a Divx/DVD player and don't burn a dvdr at all. CompUSA might still have the Philips 642 for $69.

  3. I would burn your AVI files on a DVD-R as an ISO data format disk.

    Many of the standalone DivX / DVD players can only read that format. (Not the UDF or UDF/ISO format)
    For the love of God, use hub/core labels on your Recordable Discs!

    Hey a first post for me!

    First you'll need to join the .avi's together with virtualdub. Then get yourself a program called svcd2dvd and use the avi to dvd option. It works great! You'll need to author the dvd as well with your favorite dvd authoring program. if you need more help post again!

    I believe you mean dvd2svcd.
