Extracting vcd from an SVCD???????????

is this possible??

my dvd player does not support SVCD.......so can i extract a normal VCD from it????

SVCD is Mpeg2.............VCD is Mpeg1
Different formats so an SVCD has NO VCD to extract.

You can however extract the Mpeg from a SVCDto your PC with Isobuster and convert it .

There maybe an easier way but the last time I converted an SVCD to VCD I remember converting the SVCD to an AVI then converting the AVI to VCD.
Its a bit long winded but I couldn't find another way.

Also quality loss is quite noticable. SVCD is quite near DVD quality VCD is not , its nearer VHS.

You'd better have a look what SVCD VCD and DVD are on the left.
