this program has so many features and is so cheap -- its going to really put the squeeze on the "big boys"

I've created multiple audio with two subpictures (VOBs) without any problems.
And the playlist option is so cool. A drag and drop tool!-----------------------------------------------------

Please correct me if I'm wrong...
Doesn't DVDlab make one large VOB file instead of several smaller (.99GB) files? Or has this been fixed, or does it really matter?Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -

One of the few authoring programs that still supports Windows 98, though I don't care, I'm sure this is a plus to some people.
Time get a demo, and put it through the tests. I've read some compliants of it not being "spec compliant", but with such a huge fan base, wonder just how true this is.
Wonder if Oscar is using Authoringware's SDK? This would allow for propper VMG and title set menus. A short coming that Maestro has. Seems to, since it states 99 VTS with 250 menus per VTS. -
I'm already a registered user of the "standard" version and so far the "pro" looks great. Lots of very nice tools, however, it would be nice to hear the audio when making the subtitles. I think this is going to work with "system" streams in the future. For now a great "FREE" subtitler is Subtitle Workshop. It is available from the tools menu. DVD lab supports SUB and SRT formats. If you do use Subtitle Workshop don't forget to save a copy of your project in it's native format so you can open it later to continue working where you left off.

Im confused.....
SO i have the Trial Version of 1.3.....then I see the beta 1.4....The new DVD lab Standard (is that the same as 1.4) and DVD Lab pro which should be coming out in May?
So my trial is up in a few days.....should I buy 1.3 and wait for Pro to come out and pay for the upgrade, or do i let the 1.3 expire and buy 1.4 (can you do that without having 1.3 installed?). Do you have to go to 1.4, before i upgrade to pro?
Thanks

Oscar has mentioned an upgrade path (back in Nov '03). It will be the difference between what you paid and what DLP will sell for.

Help! I made a project (and thankfully I saved it) but it won't output to the folder when I compile it. It says "Done!" but the VIDEO_TS folder is empty.
DVD-lab PRO is my last choice to make what I want!

Edit:
I just added 2 still menus, and 4 small video clips in standard DVD-lab. The size is only 25.57MB. I'm not sure how big the subtitle stream is though. However, the compiling worked and it outputted. Also, I tried doing a test compile in DVD-lab PRO and it worked. Now what? The trial days are counting down....

Help.
I lowered the size to 4.16GB and it outputted. I now have 9 VOB files. Unusually, there are no BUP nor IFO files anyway. the VIDEO_TS files are missing as well. Why is this happening? I tried compiling with only the small video clips and not the movie and it works fine.
Please any help is appreciated!
Edit:
I found out something weird. Even though when I opened the AC2 and M2V files in Windows Media Player Classic, they both said the length was 1:46:25. But when I imported that M2V in DVD-lab PRO, it said the length was 1:45:18 while the AC3 was 1:46:25. Well, I used some tools and tried my best to make them match. I ended up with 1:45.27. The ending is the ending credits so it doesn't really matter. Well, I was sure it would work this time so I compiled it. But in the middle of muxing, an error pops up saying something about the runtime and abnormal termination.Everytime it's like that.
Please help.
