    Hi. So far I had no major problems ripping DVD's. But now I've got a movie ripped but I would like to change the first chapter that is beeing played. I've ripped just the main movie and I want the movie to start with chapter no. 2 and not as usual with chapter no. 1, thats because chapter nr.1 is indeed a preview of upcoming film and does not belong to the actual movie itself.
    Can this be fixed with IfoEdit ? If so, how ?

    this may sound really dumb. but... im not exactly an expert on ripping dvds and what not, but could it be as simple as renaming the files on your computer after you have ripped it? and the burn them?

    IfoEdit is what you could use, but it's complicated because you have to learn a bunch of technical stuff.

    You could also try re-authoring if you don't care for menus (although I think CloneDVD lets you re-author with menus now).

    DVDStripper, DVDRemake would also work.

    you could just rip it and leave out the first chapter (not rip 1st ch in the first place)
