How To Change Chapter Numbers

Hello there,

I have a problem, I made a DVD using Nero Vision with several videoclips, I have assigned a Menu (from Nero) and my problem is that when I play the DVD everything is good except that when I move forwdard to the next videoclip with the remote control from the receiver the chapter number displayed on the receiver is always 1, my question is how can I change that in order if let say I'm playin title # 10 then on the receiver the number 10 were displayed.

Can I use PGCEDIT for this?, if so what I need to change?.

Chapters and Titles are different things. I don't know what your player displays, but a good (read expensive) player should display both.

I guess your player displays only the chapter numbers, since all titles begin always with chapter 1. Changing the order of the title numbers is easy, but changing the chapter numbers within a title is not easy. There are several methods to do it, but they have their drawbacks, and they require some hard work. IMO, it is better to leave things as they are.

Maybe you can configure your player to display the title number instead of the chapter number?
