Hi,
Why is VR-mode only DVD-RW and not DVD+RW, what is wrong with that format? Even the dual writers only have VR-mode on DVD-RW although they can burn on DVD+RW.
Text that you see in specs:
-DVD+RW/-RW/-R DVD Format Recording Compatibility
-Non-Linear Editing (DVD-RW VR Mode)

Pioneer set-top recorders can write to -R and -RW and well as -VR.
As to why, I have no idea, but I think it may be a more suitable format for editing.Regards,
