basically what ive noticed if i rip the menus+movie
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
The first video play item, IFO, usally a copyright notice or a menu
VIDEO_TS.VOB The first video play item, VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO Title 01, IFO, usually the main movie
VTS_01_0.VOB Title 01, VOB 0, the menu for this title
VTS_01_1.VOB Title 01, VOB 1, the video for this title
VTS_01_2.VOB Title 01, VOB 2, if larger than 1 GB it will be splitted into several vobs
VTS_01_3.VOB Title 01, VOB 3
VTS_01_4.VOB
and exclude the extras
VTS_02_0.BUP
VTS_02_0.IFO Title 02, IFO, usually movie extras
VTS_02_0.VOB Title 02, VOB 0, the menu for this title
VTS_02_1.VOB Title 02, VOB 1, the video for this title
VTS_xx_x.BUP
VTS_xx_x.IFO And so on
VTS_xx_x.VOB
VTS_xx_x.VOB
VTS_99_9.VOB Up to 99(1-99) titles with max 10(0-9) VOB files each
(did with smartripper) when i tried to burn and play the movie it seems that the navigation file gets all ass backwards. ive even got dvdshrink to open these files and minus some of the audio and subs i didnt want(after rip double click on VTS_01_0 and dvdshrink 3.0 beta 5 opens and gets to work) this is my thought, im thinking if there was a way to make the dvd navigation files to basically forget the extras were there in the first place wouldnt the dvd play just fine? is it that the biggest prob lies in cutting out the extras is the navigation file? basically my questin is that, is there any way to rewrite those navigation files?

thank you very much DoubleShadowIce. sorry djelimon didnt get a chance to try remake. but, TitleSet Blanker does exactly what i wanted it to do.
1. ripped whole movie smartripper
2. blanked extras with TitleSet Blanker (VTS_02_0.IFO, VTS_03_0.IFO, etc..)
3. opened whats left of menus and movie in shrink, got rid of extra audio etc
4. burned with nero
TitleSet Blanker takes an extra 2 seconds to do what it does, which is what i was looking for. In shrink where the extra's were show as a blank screen that takes up an extra 10kb. And when you try and use the extras that were supposed to be there on dvd menu it just goes back to same menu screen, doesnt freeze or anything. Hope this helps people trying to get rid of extras but keep the movie and menus. This seems to be the fastest easiest way since it only takes 2 more seconds than what somebody would normally do.
