When are the new writers coming out

When are the dual layer writers coming out, because I cannot wait to make 1:1 backups of most DVD's, I know how to back up but am waiting for new writers

Sony doesn't make them anymore, they just repackage other ones so be insteresting to see what they put in the box.

I think it's a small price to pay. But chose your DVD's carefully. Depends on how many come and the cost. I'd use dual layer mostly when there is a long movie that is above the size of a single layer dvd disc or if I chose to make 1:! of my favorite DVD's.
