Australian sites NOT worth a look
http://www.thediscshop.com.au/
(this mob sold me a computer with half the parts missing, they provided them later when asked - but not a good idea to use such a sloppy company) -
Funny you say that, I've had nearly the reverse of your situation.Originally Posted by pyscrow

The Disc Shop has much better service in my experience and will match any of Gamedudes prices and will beat them if you press them. I got my computer built their and the hard drive failed so being still under warranty I took it back. 2 days later (across weekend) I had a bigger and faster hard drive installed.
If anyone asks me for advice I always recommend TDS over GameDude. -
I agree but personally prefer

granted the prices are not always as cheap as TDS or gamedude
but the sales people are friendly and actually attempt to help you -

My three most favorites !!!

videohelp.com
somethingawful.com
techbargains.com
You said no porn so I actually left one of the best sites of all time out... -
Yeah, I wont step foot inside Gamedudes store, it is a poor setup, and usually involves a 45 minute wait to get to the front of the queue, but I have always had good service purchasing from their web site.Originally Posted by pacmania_2001
I will use the Disc Shop at Maroochydore or Underwood, but after my experiences (the missing parts) with the Mansfield shop I wont go near the place. I generally dont return parts etc to the store I bought them from, I find the local service agent for the part - usually much better turn around and service than the computer shops, they usually want to charge you to test em or send them to the service agent anyway. -
Good to see you have variety there RipperOriginally Posted by Ripper2860

Gotta build and upgrade to the best machine for downloading your porn, don't ya? Why do you think all the sites link to the porn? All the rest of the sites are help sites for the software and hardware troubleshooting.Originally Posted by Capmaster
These are the four basic internet sites groups:
Computer Parts
Porn
Computer Help Sites
Gamer Sites
viewing any other sites is like drinking caffine free, diet club soda. There's no purpose for it, it's all bland, and nobody really like it. If anyone is wondering, search sites fall under computer help sites.
