Wide screen Divx to VCD mpeg

Hi, could anyone help me overcome this problem of converting a Divx video which is widescreen as played by Windows media player to the exact same wide screen quality after using TMPGEnc? Somehow I can never get it to be widescreen again as the software always trim off the left and right sides even after trying all the options of keeping aspect ratio, center view, etc. I even custom it to be of the same 576 x 320 as the Divx video.

So you're picking the 'Full Screen (Keep Aspect Ratio)' option? I've never had any issues with my WS .avi movies staying at their proper ratio.
