    my friend has a dvdr that i borrowed
    i try to burn with nero and it doesnt work
    i try to rip with dvd shrink and that doesnt work either
    wat do i do!?

    Please be more specific.

    Are you saying:
    1) You can not rip the files
    or
    2) You can rip them but not author them
    or
    3) You can rip & author but not get them to burn correctly
    or
    4) You can rip, author, & burn them but they will not play correctly
    or
    5) what??

    In the meantime, try using DVD Decrypter or SmartRipper to rip the files to your hard drive. If it does not work, you may have some setup issues to deal with.

    When you say "doesn't work" what happens ? ... what error messages ?

    What is the dvdr ..... data or movie ?

    What media & burner are you using ?
