  1. alrighty, I have been trying to recreate a sound effect that I hear quite often, but am running out of ideas. The sound is like a low doppler effect, almost like wind, used often times in trailers when text flies by the camera. does anyone know what I am talking about? A specific example I can think of is the Spiderman 2 trailer on apple.com. At the very end, when it shows the date, they use the sound effect that I am talking about as the camera pulls out to reveal the date, etc. If anyone has any ideas on the best way to create this effect, please let me know. THanks!

record it yourself with a mike and your breath (wooo) ..

then pan it left to right in surround sound (arced) and as it gets to about 50-60% of the pan start reversing the phase till its 180 at extreme right , then tail it off to the rear bring it back in phase or at least 90degrees

add some very slight reverb to it and whatever else makes your day ...

  3. You can also take the sound from a symbol and slow it down and add effects. This method works very very well I have done it several times.
