I'm using a Liteon LWD-411S
With some DVDs it runs smoothly and has no problems, with others from the same spindle (vertabim) it just won't even attempt to start burning - its the same for a few other makes too... although it could be a media problem I was wondering if there was something I could be, because many of the discs that don't work on my DVD writer works on friend's ones... I have the same problems for all burning programs too... any ideas?

oooo wait - I updated firmware and fixed problem... I think, seems ok now at least....
liteon webpage is HELL to navigate!
