Is it possible to change the subtitles in VOB files

Hi there, I have a Dutch copy of Love Actually that I picked up while in Amsterdam as it was much cheaper than in the UK. However, the film only has Dutch subtitles on it which is a problem (as anyone who's watched the film will know) as there are quite a few lines spoken in Portuguese with forced subtitles on the top.

Is it possible if I get the subtitles off the web to change the subtitles without re-authoring the whole dvd?

Don't forget to tell him that by following that guide you lose the menu (at least i did) and when asking about it in the forums i got no reply that any1 knows how to add a sub and still keep the menu.
