We got some in at work, they are in cartridges, and we can't used them, so I was asked if I wanted them. My DVD recorder can use the cartridge dvd-rams, it's a Panasonic E50, but it calls for the 4.7 gig discs. Has anyone tried these discs with my type of recorder? And how is the quality?
Thanks for the help.

Morning,
If your model is the same as my EMR50 then no. I'm afraid the manual says
DISKS THAT CANNOT BE PLAYED
2.6 and 5.2 GB DVD RAM
Which is a pain since I have a few of these laying about which I used to use for backup of data before I switched to removable drive bays.
Cheers

That's interesting as I checked my manual and it only says under discs that can't be played, 2.8 Gb discs. Mine might be an older manual with a typo. Anyway, I did try it and it couldn't read it so you're correct.
