  2. You can just burn multiple isos to the the DVD as data and just mount them...

  4. Huh??? Thats what he just said. Are you looking to be able to play the iso(s) directly from the disc? If so, then that would be the mounting he is refering to.
No, I'm from Iowa. I only work in outer space.

  5. yeah

what I meant is - not to mount the iso but to burn it to a dvd as you would burn an image when you burn it to a CD...

i want to be able to play multiple back ups from 1 DVD by NOT mounting the iso at all!!

I don't think that's possible to do, mount all one the DVD as if it is the CD itself... There would be too many conflicting files (autorun, setup, etc.).

  7. I thought that it might have been possible because I have seen various back up cds on the net [check http://backups.cd ] I wondered how they made back ups of the various programs... I thought that they might make iso's of the cds and then burn them onto 1 cd.....

But as you say it would not be possible....

However if you were to make different folders [ like on cds which you get with magazines] parhaps then it could work...

Now I have burned each iso onto 1 whole dvd+rw it works fine....

this is better as I have to emulate my back ups as some of the games have protection [such as safeguard v2 ] so I emulate them on my virtual drive...

anywho.... thanks for the suggestions mister...
