Has anyone noticed that 0SEx does not work on dvds that have already been decrypted and reburned? Tried this with multiple computers and different DVD's. I was trying to extract streams again to make a svcd forget it.
If the Thunder don't get you,

Maybe YadeX is a better solution for you?

Well that was useless. Get these -36 errors. But they only happen on dvd's that are already decrypted. Not on the original.

  4. If they are already decrypted then why don't you just drag the VIDEO_TS folders onto the desktop?

Maybe I didn't explain it clear enough in my first post. Decryption is not the problem. I want to make svcd from all the vob's in the video_ts folder. From what I understand you need to do a different type of extraction with osex or yade to do this. Correct?

  6. I guess it depends on the method you use to create your svcds. Using ffmpegX or (I believe) MPEG2 Works allows you to just choose the VIDEO_TS folder. You do not need to make the movie a .VOB. That means just dragging the folder off the DVD onto the desktop and pointing your program to the folder.

That's the real problem. I have mpeg2works but it will from what I can see only allow you select single vob's not a whole video_ts folder. That's why I wanted to use osex to get it multiple vob's into one file.

I didnt suggest YadeX for its decryption ability. I suggested it because YadeX does what you want, and in a way that doesnt corrupt the AC3 audio. For all intents and purposes, 0Sex is a museum piece now.

  9. Oh, well that explains it. Have you tried MacTheRipper? It seems to do better with problem discs.

  10. Aww shucks, just noticed that MTR doesn't rip to VOB. You may be stuck returning to the original DVD with OSEX.

That's what I am thinking, glad it's a netflix dvd, won't cost me anything to get it again.
