I am planning on getting the LG DV7711P DVD player. I know of the hack to make it multi region because I want to be able to play region 1 dvds. The thing I am worried about is because I live in Australia and have a Pal TV (I would think anyway, I have no idea how to find out whether my tv supoprts pal and ntsc) and the region 1 dvds are NTSC, would that be a problem in viewing my movies?
Has anyone with a pal tv had any problems playing a region 1 dvd?

I have never but I am in the UK. As far as I was concerned nearly all fairly new tv's can play both PAL and NTSC.
Wait for another aussie to come along and confirm this.
