  1. Ok, here is the rundown of my pc

    768 MB RAM
    1.5GHz P4
    Win XP
    23 GB available on C:

Up until about 2 weeks ago, I havent had any problems copying & burning DVDs. Now, all of a sudden, Im making coasters 70% of the time, and it's getting costly trying to make DVDs. I havent changed any of the settings in my Nero preferences, but obviously something has gone astray. What I need to know is, what are the optimal settings of a persons pc who is currently using Nero, and at least getting a 80-90% success rate at making DVDs. I still have a bunch of DVDs to make for people, so a fast reply would be greatly appreciated. And if you need any more info, just let me know. Thanx again

Why don't you try another burning software program to see if it is in fact Nero that's causing your problems. I certainly can't say if Nero was causing my earlier problems, but once I changed to CopytoDVD (along with no longer using labels and using the latest version of Shrink), I haven't had a problem since. If I were you, I'd try CopytoDvd (they have a free trial that you can use for a month).
