Alright, so here's what i've done. I've ripped an entire season of "CSI" to my hard drive, and then have used DVD Shrink to re-encode the episodes and make the files smaller, so i can fit them onto four discs instead of onto six.
When i open my project with TMPEG, i select "Add DVD-Video" and add each episode. But sometimes, when i select an episode, it only adds a small portion. One episode showed up as being 5 minutes long, even though it's more like 45 minutes. I don't really know how to fox this, so any help is appreciated.

instead of shrinking before importing to dvd author, try shrinking after.
tmpgenc dvd author should give you an error that the output file size is too big, just choose ignore to bypass the error.
once tda is done, import the files into dvdshrink and compress to fit onto one dvd-r.
