    I have an mpeg file that wont play in windows media but will play in winDVD platinum (the file is on my hardrive)

    none of my converting progs (virtual dub, tmpeg or flaskmpeg) will recognize the file

    im guessing its an scvd, but i would like to convert it to avi so i can watch it in windows media, etc..

    does anybody know a program for this?

    tried virtualdubmod or virtualdub-mpeg2 or dvd2avi?

    yer a goddam genius... virtual dub mod worked, didnt even think to check

    i have another question/file problem but im gonna tra the mpeg 2 version first
