  1. I create the DVD successfully, but when playing on the DVD player,
the remote control "menu" button does not seems to bring up the
menu page of the DVD, any help?

the menu setting I use is,
    only Main Menu
    Display Main Menu
    Display Main Menu

    Thanks

  3. What should I use then?

I am creating a CD with 6 tracks. Each track has 1 video file.

If I set menu setting to others, such as "automatic",
"only track menu" or "main menu and track menu",
then when playing on DVD player, clicking the menu entry in main menu
will bring me to second layer menu (track menu), which I do not want to.
Since there is only one video per track.

I want to select a movie in main menu and it goes to play the movie directly without second level menu.

    Thanks

put the 6 videos on the track menu and choose display track menu only thus bypassing the main menu altogether

You had it right the first time, tlian, you just weren't using the right button. It is actually better to put the clips in different tracks (unless, for example, they are segments of a single movie and you want them to play continuously one after the other). If you put them all in one track, then they will play one after another, like chapters in a movie, which is probably not what you want....and there is no way to prevent this.

The "menu" button is for the track menu. Your DVD remote should also have another button, maybe called "root" or "title", which will display the title menu. When you have multiple tracks, you'll want to access the title menu, not the track menu.

Remember, by putting each clip into a separate track, you can set up your DVD so that it will return to the menu after it plays a clip *or* you can set it up so that it will go on to play the next clip. If you put them all in one track, then it will always play the clips one after the other, until it gets to the last one.

Multi-track is much more flexible, and also allows you to use clips with different resolutions, audio parameters, etc....
