  1. I want to take a few screenshots when i play my dvds, mpeg,

    and when i do printscreen and paste it to adobe
    it like shows me a gray spot
    what do i do?

  2. Win DVD or Power DVD has an option for capture an image...

    just play the movie.....pause where you want it.....push capture image and will save (usually is a camare icon and save in My documents)

    What program are you watching your videos with? If you want to screen capture a video with Windows Media Player, you have to disable overlay.

    thats easy, in windows media player, go into Tools -> Options and then click the Performance Tab.

    Then drag the Video Acceleration to left to about the middle. Press Apply and restart media player. If Print Screen still wont work then move the Video Acceleration all the way to the left to None, hit apply and then restart media player.... that should make it work.
