I have an xvid (PAL) source that i wish to convert to MPG2 (NTSC) to make an svcd. These are the steps that i have followed so far:
1. Open AVI in vdub ac3, set audio to full processing, open the conversion window and convert from 48 khz to 44.1, then save as wav
2. load wav into besweet, change the preset to convert from 25 fps to 23.976 mp2
3. Load xvid file into tmpgenc, load svcd film and unlock templates, encode with 3:2 pulldown when playback, and check do not framerate conversion, encode to produce m2v video file.
4. load m2v and mp2 in bbmpg, mux as mpg2 with 3:2 pulldown.
Both of the final elementary streams are the same length, but after i mux them, the audio and video are out of sync (audio is delayed).
If someone could give me some suggestions that would be helpful. THNX

Its because you havnt changed the framerate of the video, but you have on the audio. You checked the no framerate button. Therefore the video is still that of the svcd, but youve changed the length of the audio in Besweet.
you know it's the anti-Midas touch when all you touch goes to shit..............
