    Adding subtitles isn't authoring.

Try install latest ffdshow latest avi/divx/xvid codecs...i think some old version of ffsdhows cause green screens.

What is the source of your video, what programs are you using, and what have tried so far.

  4. To Baldrick - I'm sorry for posting in the wrong section.

I've tried using ffdshow, smart ripper, virtual dub, vob sub, and smart ripper. I followed the guides in the permanent subtitle section and they don't work. When i use Sefy's guides it doesn't come out and when i use the other guide it comes out green, cut, and upside down. The source? I'm nto sure if im answering this right but i used clad dvd to rip and tmpgenc to encode to mpeg, than converted it to avi.

This is off the topic but could u answer this question?
For this one video (anime) i ripped using clad dvd and encoded using tmpgenc and it always comes out glitchy and stuff. However when i converted the .vob file straight into mpeg file using the multipexing and demultiplexing feature it comes out perfect and very clear but when i burn using vcdeasy...it first says that this is an invalid format (720x...) but i still burn them and it came out really really glitchy. My guess is that it wont burn right because of the size...but i cant find any program that allows resizing....is there anythign i can do to burn a very clear svcd.
