  1. I'm trying to encode a video that is not in the standard vcd resolution (i.e., NTSC{352x240} or PAL{352x288}). Is it still possible to encode a 320x240 video to put on a vcd?

  2. you can encode at whatever resolution you feel....the problem is whether or not it will be displayed properly if at all on you standalone player if thats your intent.

  3. That's what I plan to do. Are there any settings that I should use when encoding that might help? I'm using TMPGEnc 2.00 to encode.

  5. When I made a 320x240 vcd, it played poorly on my DVD player. The picture was off to the left, the audio was a half second out of sync and had glitches in it. I re-encoded it resizing it to 352x240 and it played perfectly, audio and video.
