I have some AVI and MPG that i want to view in my DVD player.
I know that some DVD players read some mpegs but mine dont.
So its possible to transform a normal AVI/MPG to a DVD format that i can burn on a DVD-R so that i can view in my DVD player ?
I have use TMPGEnc-2.521 and get a .m2v format and a file .wav
It is ok like this or i'm doing everything wrong ?
If this is ok what my next step ????
I look in a normal DVD and it have AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS dir with files like .VOB and .IFO.
Looks like i'm doing it wrong or forgeting some steps.
What can i do to put the AVI in a DVD that works in a normal DVD player ?
Best Regards

hi ....Has I know... the files that you create in TMPGEnc is correct...Now You need a software to create a DVD...there are several of them.....
DVD Lab....
Ulead DVD Work Factory..
Video Studio 7.0
And I hear Info-edit can do this too......
well ..There are a lot of answers....
One thing is true, you need "encode" the AVI to format for DVD (mpeg2, vobs).
Good luck -
You have done it correctly to get an m2v and wav file. What you now need is TMPGenc DVD Author . This will take your m2v and wav and allow you to have a menu and chapters if you want them , and the output will be AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders which you can burn to a DVD-R with Nero or whatever software you use to burn with.
The steps for AVI to DVD are
1-Encode
2-Author
3-Burn
You have done step 1 The Encoding.
