I need to find out if posible to use a new dp receiver into an old dishnetwork 500 or if i need to buy a dish pro satelite?... i know if you have a dishpro satelite and you have a old receiver you can used unless you have a dp adpter. but i was wondering if possible the other way around old satelite and a new receiber without an adapter.
