    I have the box set of this from play.com and have just realised there's no Macrovision on them. Can anyone shed any light on this ?

    maybe they didnt want to pay to have macrovision because they realise its a stupid thing.. i believe one of the harry potter dvd's didnt have macrovision on it..

    you arent required to have CSS or macrovision on dvd's.. but if you want them, you're gonna have to pay for it.

    It's gotta be HBO cost cutting...the Band of Brothers DVDs also lacked English subtitles*, it only had Spanish and French.




    (*Yes, I include English subtitles in my backups, since I watch a lot of my DVDs in the middle of the night while my wife is sleeping. I'm just weird that way)
