  1. I'm trying to convert my DIVX avi into an MPEG movie using the guide that is on this site but I keep gettin an error message every time I try to extract the audio into WAV format before using it in TMPGEnc.

This is what the message says "No audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format". But, the movie plays fine in windows media player both video and audio play properly.

I also checked the audio compression located in the audio stream section of file information and it says "Unknown (tag 2000)".

What shall I do to get VirtualDub to extract the audio correctly?
