i was wondering if there was a way to find out what kinda of motherboard is in my comp without having to open it up?

I think I saw a brand name for mine somewhere in Win2K. But I don't remember where. Hardware info? Something like that?

This is a diagnostic tool might just help you.

There is another one with name WCPUID or something like that.

I got pretty good results with both of these.
