problem with ac3 file

hey guys,
I downloaded this movie, 3 files of ca 700 mb xvid. I encoded these 3 files with tmpgenc to mpeg-2 for dvd authoring. Then I extracted the ac3 sound of the 3 files with virtualdubmod. So now I have 3 m2v video files and 3 ac3 files. Now I want to author this with tmpgenc dvd author, I just load the first m2v file with the first ac3 file as one clip and also the second. This works perfectly, but when I load the third m2v file with the ac3 file tmpgenc dvd author says that It is an illegal audio format, but the file is named .ac3 so I don't get what the problem is. I tryed in virtualdubmod with full processing mod and direct stream copy, but both of them gave the same problem. The first two parts did work with direct stream copy. Anyone an Idea?
