    I have recently tried capturing with VirtuaDub 1.5.10, but it seizes up and eventually shows that it's not responding.

    Has anyone else have a similar crash?

    Do you have VFW drivers installed? Probably not, since the current standard is different. Try the VDUB wrapper.
