I know I'm asking a lot of different questions but the post is mainly for people with DVD-Ram writers.

I have a Panasonic E50 and an LG DVD writer which works with DVD-Ram discs.

I am having problems when copying some videos from a Ram disc to my PC.

I have got the Ram driver and can copy the video using TMPGenc DVD but the video track is out by a few seconds? ( Cuts the beginning off and adds a few seconds over the end)

PowerDVD plays the file perfectly but WMP plays but with choppy audio?

I am also having problems trying to cut the file. I have tried TMPEGenc but cuts with no audio? Tried Mpeg2VCR but program crashes? Only got 800Mhz/256mb - is that a problem?

Also would like to be able to copy videos back to a Ram disc which would then play on the E50. I have seen a Japanese program but cant understand it? Any English program?

    Any help with this appreciated

Did you edit the RAM disk on the standalone, before copying it to your PC Hard drive? That is a no, no.

I had audio sync issues and this was the cause of them.

So if you DON'T edit on the standalone (I have an E50, too, and am interested in getting a DVD-RAM burner, as well), then the drive should be able to read it?

Yes. It does seem that if you just record one program and then copy this file you dont get many problems.

I have also found that a program called Mpeg2VCR will copy just the part of a file directly from a Ram disc which saves you having to copy the whole file to your hard drive first

I have also successfully used a program called "Media Studio 7 pro" to copy a video file back to a DVD-Ram disc with my writer and which plays on my E50. This program is about the only program that will write in DVD-VR mode which the E50 needs.
