i have a nu-tech ddw-081 with the latest firmware b364, this allows for burning of dvd-r media and is much more stable than the b362 dual fw sofar. i have a spindle of 50 starlogic/princo dvd-r discs that are absolute crap, and b4 i return them i wanted to give one from the middle a chance. now here is the problem, i tried burning an iso from nero 6.3.0.2 and it starts to burn the disc and goes through the whole thing at 1.9x and completes succesfully, but when i took the disc out it was BLANK. tried again and the same thing. so i took some pos cmc dvd-r that i had lieing on the floor and it burned it with no problems. why would the nero claim that the princo burned successfuly but nothing happened. the led on the front was red and blinking like it was burning so it looked like it was burning.
