Is there any tenative release date for the next version of ffmpegX? I am hoping there will be ogg vorbis support for audio, and hopefully it will also support ogm, I do not see why this could be done because of these are open standards. I would rather use .ogg for audio instead of .mp3 because of licenseing issues with .mp3. Also I have a VIDEO_TS direcotry on my hdd. Is there a way that I can extract the .ac3 streams from the VIDEO_TS direcotry. osex0101.b can only extract from a disc, and does not have an option for specifying a directory on local disk. Is there a recommened ac3 > ogg tool for os x?

To Extract the ac3 audio, you could use DVD2AVI for instance - I use it as part of the Gordian Knot package for ripping DVDs and it s perfect for what you are trying to do.

    Cheers

Stupid PC people.THIS IS A MAC QUESTION AND FORUM!

Use Extractor to do it. Much easier.
