TMPGEnc DVD Author Alternatives?

I have been using TMPGEnc DVD Author, which has good features and is easy to use. However, they want $68 to register! Is there any freeware tool that has these features :
multiple tracks
mpeg1 video

I tried IfoEdit, but it was single track and didn't support mpeg1.

Yep, DVDAuthorGUI. Free, and a pretty good tutorial at the download site. Multiple tracks, chapters, menu with m2v still image or motion menu, also audio in menu.

One thing is it uses your computer for all it's worth while authoring/multiplexing, so leave it alone. Takes about 15 mins to author a movie on my machine. Might not work on an old slow machine, don't know if it will operate under WIN98 either. It doesn't like a fragmented hard drive most definitely. Audio stream must be mp2 only, ac3 won't work. (Unless that's been fixed, haven't checked lately).

But it's free and can give good results. Haven't tried mpeg1 in it, but it should work. Good luck.
