  1. Hey all. I am looking for the best pinrtable media with a full face so you can print all the way to the center. I would really like to go with Ritek G04's but they have the ~44mm diameter that can't be printed on instead of going all the way to the center whole.

The only media I have found that you can print all the way to the center is BeAll media, it is about 62$ for 50 inkjet printables. The only thing that is stopping me is that I was viewing on here that they work with about 44 dvd players and don't work in 17!! that is a pretty big success to failure ratio compared to Ritek G04's 110/10 ratio.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a printable media that lets you print all the way to the center AND is known for higher compatibility with standalone dvd players. As far as I know, there really isn't much available but I am hoping you guys know something I don't.

    Thanks

EDIT: Going back and looking again, it appears I was looking at the 1X BeAll not the 4x that I was looking to get. The 4x have 100% compatbility althouhg only with 10 players . I guess I will be ordering the BeAlls

  2. Yup only ones I found are BeAll they are decent media. They print awesome one my R300 Epson, and they play in the "newer" ps2's but not the older ones. Work great in Xbox, and all my dvd players. They also are 4X solid in my A06's burning.

  5. BeAll have no official uk resellers, youre only bet is to import some, they wont come out too bad price wise due to the state of the dollar, but you may have heavy customs duty if the product is about 18quid in value and they open it up, however, they dont usuallly open small packages.

I quote my self, answer good enough...I have about 50 left, youll get them in 10 packs, not possible to purchase them on a spindle..

When they talk about thermal printable, what do they mean?

It means you have to use a thermal printerto print onto DVD discs..Like this one:

After contact with BeAll they confirmed no UK Resellers nor plans for any, best bet is an expensive import or sticking with 44mm printables.

  13. Guys,

The media code for the Gigastor media that we have is GSC002. They have been sucessfully tested in a NEC 1300D and a Pioneer 106. If anyone would like a sample to burn and print please drop us a line at sales@bb-shopping.com. We have not had any returns on this disc as yet.

Picture included this time for info.

With regard to the thermal printing, we have Princo DVD-R 4x full face printable discs. The LPCW-50 and LPCW-100 printers mentioned above have a major limitation in that you can only print two areas on the disc measuring 74mm x 16mm in four colours. Inkjet printing still seems to be the most cost effective way to print a complete disc image.

    Hope this helps.
    Cheers, Ian
