  1. Im about to do Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets using the dvd2svcd cce method. The movie says it is widescreen but I don't know which setting to use in dvd2svcd (im going dvd to dvd of course).

Under the 'conversion' tab there is the aspect ration pulldown tab with these choices: 4:3 (no borders encoded as 4:3)
16:9 (borders added encoded as 4:3)
Anamorphic (no borders encoded as 16:9)

Which do I choose...I will be watching the movie on a standard 4:3 television...In doom9's guide it doesnt really specify which choice you should make and I'd hate to waste 4 hours to find out that I encoded the damn thing incorrectly!!

Can someone give me a helping hand?

  2. I would encode it at 16:9, non-anamorphic.
