When i capture with my studio dc10plus frp, my video i get an annoying line at the bottem.
are there any setting that are wrong re is it my vcr thats broken ???

As far as I know, that is normal (I have seen it at ATI-AIW, DC30 and the cheaper PixelView cards). I guess it has something to do with vertical sync, and I believe it also occurs on the TV sets, only the image borders are cropped then.
Don't worry: when you put it back to the TV via (S)VCDs, it won't show. -
Your VCR is not broken, it will be on all VHS VCRs. It's the head switching points on the video tape. On consumer VCR's like VHS the head switching happens during the last few active TV lines. On broadcast equipment it happens during the vertical blanking, and is not visable.
