DVD Decrypter problem... read my error log here.

Hey guys,

I am trying to rip the dvd in iso mode to my hard drive. I have tried it twice already and it keeps getting stuck at 79%

It gives me a read error message... this is what comes up in the Decrypter Log:

"W 22:00:25 Failed to read Sector 1767312 - L-EC Uncorrectable Error"

Is there any way around this? and what does it mean?

Is this an Old DVD? It may have deep scratch . Can you watch the original DVD?

Sounds like a bad DVD. Do you have another reader? Maybe try SmartRipper.

I usually get this error when I have a badly scratched disc or a dirty disc. I usually take a damp cloth and wipe the disc down and a few times I was able to get pass the error.

yeah, the disk is freezing also when i try to play it. it cant get past that 79% mark. I tried other rippers too.

the disc is kind of dirty but its dirty from the inside... i guess i cant clean it then.

have you tried a disc scratch fixer?
