  1. Hi all, brand new poster here, I have a few questions:
    1. Im burning a DVD copy of a movie that i copied a while ago to AVI (DVD-To-AVI) Using some sorta tool, cant remember what.
    2. I try to encode the DivX file to MPEG1 using TMPEG Enc, by doing the following
    a. Open up Divx file in TMPegEnc (699MB, by the way) using the NTSC VCD wizard
    b. Split audio onto seperate WAV file
    c. use WAV file as audio souce (WAV file is longer than split video obviously, but ends and starts at proper times)
    d. Split the video to my liking to fit on two CD-R's
    e. Use Low motion search presicion
    f. Encode file 1 (as im doing this, i do other stuff like search the web)
    2. As I watch file 1, itss out of sync with the audio

Why would it be out of sunc? Is it because of the WAV?

    Thanks
    Travis

How exactly did you split the wav file? It's unlikely that the wav is your problem if you decompressed correctly. You should also check the video for bad frames using this guide.
