  1. Hi pros!

    This is my problem:
I have a movie on VHS-tape, once recorded in german with a superb videoquality and once recorded with english language, video-quality poor. What i would like to end up with is a DVD that contains the good videosequence of the german tape together with the option of switching between the two languages.
I already ripped both tapes on my HD as AVI, I already managed to convert the avis to DVD-MPEG2 with TMPEGplus and I also managed to get video and audio separated into good and bad videotracks and english and german audiotracks. So I have all the parts.
How do I manage to put the good videotrack together with the english & german audiotrack? I usually work with TMPG DVD Author as an authoring program.
Also I guess there is the problem that the two languagefiles dont necessarily match the pictures (one is from another ripped movie), so how can I adapt an audiotrack that doesnt fit the movements of the mouths?

Thanx for your help, folks, Stefan

First, use the Source Range of TMPGEnc to get the time of the video. Next, load a copy of the good English audio track into Gold Wave. Time Warp the audio so that it matches the same duration as the video. Use TMPGEnc to make an .m2v and .mp2 file. Change the extension of the mp2 file to mpa. Launch IfoEdit and select DVD Author-->Author new DVD. Load the m2v file as video and load the audio files. The resultant files are authored into DVD files.
    Hello.
