I am trying to use Ulead VideoStudio 5 DV with my Videoh PCI capture card. Somehow Ulead does not detect my card. Neither does Microsoft Movie Maker. The only software that detects my card is Sonic MyDVD that came with the card.
I want to use other capture software to see if I can improve the video quality captured from home-made VHS tapes but none of the other programs detect the card. Windows device manager detects videoh card correctly.
Need help here. Thanks.
My system:
AMD 2600+
Windows XP Pro
768 MB DDR
Adaptec Videoh PCI (detected by Sonic MyDVD. Not detected by Ulead VideoStudio, MS Movie Maker, Premiere 6)

I believe that card works with only a very few capture programs (which is on reason I returend mine). I've heard Sage Recorder works. More info here:

It mostly depend on the chip that being use there are diff chip set.
