my motherboard is a NForce board and I thought I read that I need to remove the Nvidia IDE drivers or something and install the generic microsoft drivers to get the 2500A to work correctly.
am i right and where do I get this info on what I need to do?
I havent gotten the drive yet, will arrive this week.

I've used both the Nvidia and the MS IDE drivers and I can't say that anyone work better than the other. Currently I'm using the MS drivers because I have a Sony 500a that seems to be flaking out on me, but is more stable with the MS drivers. I've burned about 15 dvd so far with the NEC with no problem.
